Description

Gillows: An impressive Regency period brass-inlaid rosewood OCCASIONAL TABLE of unusual medium (w: 30 x d: 27 inch) size.

The well figured rosewood top is inlaid with brass to the top edge and frieze. Supported on a typical 'Gillows style' tapering hexagonal stem, with applied beading and a carved collar. The triform base also has brass inlay leading to carved paw feet and concealed brass castors.

Dated: c1825-30.
