C19th Mahogany Side Table / Writing Table by Holland and Sons, London

Description

Handsome mid C19th mahogany side table / writing table by Holland and Sons, London; the well figured solid mahogany top with rounded corners having a good overhang supported on supported scrolled brackets; the frieze with a concealed drawer having a well figured mahogany front and being fully mahogany lined; the drawer base stencilled "HOLLAND & SONS, LONDON". Raised on turned tapering legs with original brass cup castors. The reverse of the table being finished the same so can be used freestanding.

English circa 1840

Good original condition having a good untouched colour and surface with signs of age and use which add to its appearance.
