Lovely Early 19th Century Solid Mahogany Fold-over Tea Table

Description

An excellent quality (and heavy) early 19th century solid mahogany fold-over Tea Table in very good and original condition. The beautifully figured top opens to reveal the similarly grained interior, with the frieze below veneered in ‘flame’ mahogany with corner panels and a tablet to the centre which is edged in a grecian key border. It is supported on the solid mahogany column of ‘vase’ shape, leading to four moulded legs, supported by a set of original brass sabot castors.

Measurements: 36ins wide; 18ins deep; 29.5ins high.
