Fine Quality William IV Figured Mahogany Antique Games Table

Dating from ca, 1835 this Fine Quality William IV Figured Flamed Mahogany Antique Card Table / Games Table / Console Table has many uses. It has a beautifully figured top that swivels open to double in size revealing a concealed games storage compartment in the process and green baize playing surface. This wonderful antique table has a figured moulded frieze with scrolled carvings above central shaped pedestal and has a shaped base with four out-swept legs and castors. This stunning antique games table has been constructed from the finest quality figured mahogany and is a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
