Stunning 19th Century Kingwood Antique Writing Table

This Stunning, late 19th Century Rosewood and Kingwood Antique Writing Table dates from ca. 1880. It has a shaped moulded top with Quarter veneered top, has cross-banded edges and a scrolled moulding. Below is a working drawer with central turned handle. This fine antique writing table has shaped sides, a moulded figured cross stretcher, is finished on the back so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired and comes with beautiful charm and character. It is a truly stunning piece and has aged to a warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
