A West Indian hexagonal specimen top table circa 1830 inlaid in exotic woods on a gonzales alves and parcel gilt base.

Size : 21.5 inches across 28.5 inches high

In the early to mid 19th century these exotically inlaid tops were exported back from the West Indian colonies particularly Jamaica and the bases made by English cabinet makers in London to support them.
