Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
I have deliberately not over cleaned the brass, as my personal preference is to keep the tarnishing you can see to the legs, although this has been surfaced cleaned and buffed.

The frieze has three fitted panels with currently a vintage ochre toned brushed velvet, but this is very simple to remove and replace with another tone of fabric you you wished to do so ( they just push out of the frame ).

The alabaster top is beautiful and it has a lovely matt finish to it. Some "pitting" to the surface and good grain patterns running through it. The alabaster lifts off the frame for moving, but when placed on the base it is very secure.
You may wish to secure the console table to your wall for extra peace of mind.
