Pair of Black Lacquered and Mother of Pearl Etagere Side Tables

1900 - 1920
Description

Very decorative pair of black lacquered and inlaid etagere side tables with brass mounts, circa 1900.

Beautifully inlaid with rosewood and mother of pearl to each tier and finished with the brass edging.

These tables will work well as a pair of bedside tables, but also as originally intended as free standing side tables.

The contrast of the rosewood and mother of pearl in the twisted inlay works very well with the polished ebonised finish.

They are both in good condition, just showing the age and use related marks as you would expect.

Measuring:

30 1/2” or 78cm high

13 3/4” or 35cm diameter

9 1/2” or 24cm height between shelves
