Description

An incredibly stylish small coffee table in well figured solid mahogany. This striking piece of furniture has cut-out elevations consisting of pointed arches to the long sides and Gothic arches to the ends. The fixed rectangular overhanging top has a rounded edge, and the feet have a moulded-top plinth to the outer edges. This beautiful low table/stool retains its original finish with a deep, rich colour and a glowing patination. It's had numerous minor running repairs over the years, which add to its charm and character, and is a piece that is English, c.1890s.
