A coromandel free standing ,two drawer writing table. Two mahogany lined drawers and two dummy drawers opposing.The table is cross grained coromandel with amboyna inlays to drawer fronts and legs. The turned and simulated central column is raised on four swept legs terminating in original castors. The black and simple gilt tooled leather writing surface was probably replaced around 20 years ago. A very neat and smart writing table with lovely use exotic timbers. Super quality functional table in solid condition English C 1820
