Description:
The table incorporates a single-plank top (a sign of quality), with a straight, simple edge, above a single working drawer. The drawer incorporates the original brass swan neck handle & circular escutcheons. The oak-lined drawer is constructed with fine hand dovetail joints and the drawer front is decorated with scribe moulding. The drawer runs smoothly and closes flush to the frame. The table stands on four tapering block legs. The table retains the original top and backboard to the rear; the frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for the period. The table has been French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop. Ideal for use a side table in a hallway, or even a small writing desk. The table is solid in joint and ready to use.

Condition Report:
This Georgian mahogany side table is in excellent original condition. The table has been French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, drawer front and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The drawer is in good working order; it retains the original drawer linings, and closes flush to the frame. The drawer retains its original solid brass handle and escutcheons. The table features the original top and backboard to the rear. There are no breaks to the frame or legs. The frame has been constructed in the traditional manner for that period. It has a fantastic rich colour and patination. This table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
