Description:
This is a lovely quality English Art Deco solid walnut & mahogany circular occasional table, circa 1940, in excellent original condition. The table boasts a walnut circular top, supported by a shaped mahogany quartered central column, which also features quarter-circular spacers for additional strength. The table rests on four shaped, splayed legs. The table displays solid craftsmanship. The table has been French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop. This piece boasts classic Art Deco styling in the overall design of the curved corners, clean lines to the top and the choice of materials.
Condition Report:
This table is in excellent original condition. The table has been French polished by hand to a professional standard in our workshop. Therefore, the top is in excellent condition with no stains or cup marks or stains to the top. Nominal old used marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The top supports are sturdy and free from any breaks or damage. The table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
