Description

English oak side table of around 1660. Two plank overhanging top. Column turned legs with cushion moulded frieze and applied carved ears. The condition as can be seen is typical for any piece of this age that has not been refinished: evidence of old woodworm, small historic repairs and variations in the colour of the top.Simple pegged construction. On the whole a great colour. The two side stretchers are later additions probably around 100 years. The table is solid and ready for use.
