A useful 19th century wall-mounted general purpose table in a solid natural blondwood — possibly sycamore. It is of semicircular form with bold convex and concave mouldings below, and a delicate chamfer to the top edge. It is affixed to the wall with two brass mirror plates already attached. This eye catching piece of simple, understated design can be used in any room in the house, and would be especially useful as a console table in a hallway. English, c.1890s.
