Description

An 18th century (circa 1790) cherry wood joined side table of superb patina (colour).

This table consists of a two plank top with a moulded edge leading down to a deep drawer to the front with original brass handle.

The table is supported on four finely turned legs joined by square stretchers and standing on turned feet.

There is evidence of old woodworm at the bottom of two of the legs, this is stable and is not uncommon in fruitwood pieces as this tends to be a wood susceptible to worm.

The table is in very good, original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
