Description

Circa 1917 (makers stamp) this is an authentic and original trestle table with a thick lime waxed pine top and hand forged trestle base. The top is of 3 pine planks with the correct location notches with iron corner brackets. The top is bolted through in two places locking the planks together which the correct construction for this design of table. The iron corner brackets are stamped 'Sam Parkes & Co Willenhall 1902' This maker was established in 1838. The top is stamped 1917. The hand forged iron trestles are in good condition and support the top in a very solid and level manner. The table is of good proportions and will seat six very comfortably with excellent leg room. It is very versatile and can be positioned in rooms with narrow or difficult access.
