1920'S Heavy Folding Round Bistro Table with Great Patina

Incredible finish to this original French 1920's folding round painted wrought iron Bistro table with great patina to the worn and pitted finish.

This is a great quality table, heavily built and not like the lightweight or tinny versions.

This table could certainly be used inside as a kitchen diner table, but of course as it was intended for outside use too.

The old paint finish has mostly worn away and been replaced with this fabulous worn and oxidised colouring and textured finish, so it really is almost a piece of art! I have given the table numerous coats of beeswax to bring up a bit of a sheen to the table top and the wrought iron base too.

The table will seat 4 to 6 and can also be folded down to store, so if it was to be a garden or patio table, you can fold it up and put it away for the harsher months.

Great decorative piece and if I had the space for it, I would absolutely use this as my kitchen diner table. Great for anything you can throw at it from a homework table to a dinner party and is certainly a talking point which is most unusual.

The supporting base is very solid and has two very strong catches which hold the table in place.
