Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
1890. It has a hexagonal cross banded top with several working drawers and faux drawers with boxwood inlay edges and small brass handles. The drum top swivels around and stands on a central turned pedestal with three splayed legs having box wood string inlay and shaped feet. The Mahogany on this fine antique table is a warm shade with a striking grain, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
