Description

This is a very pretty inlaid solid hardwood Indian table dating from around 1890. The table is beautifully inlaid in bone and its circular top has a carved central elephant and a border of camels and elephants inlaid in bone. The table is supported on elephant mask legs with carved bone tusks and inlaid eyes and has neat peg feet joined by a cross stretcher. This stands 54 cms high and is 47 cms in diameter. It is in excellent condition with a good sturdy construction.
