An exceptional quality and beautifully made English Regency period sofa table or would work very well as a centre hall table too.

This is a very attractive piece, elegant and has lovely proportions. The whole table has very fine stringing throughout and is in great condition too.

Two working drawers to one side and "faux" drawers to the other. The lift up leaves are well supported and the whole table is firm.

For me, the best part of this sofa table is the legs. Fabulous scrolled legs, tapering down to the original brass castors, adding to the elegance of this piece.

This sofa table would lend itself to being used as a desk as it has a relatively high turned stretcher, so you can sit at this in comfort. Perhaps this was it's original intention when made circa 1830.

Great condition and a very decorative piece that deserves to be a real feature piece.
