Beautifully Figured Walnut Antique Victorian Card Table – Games Table

Dating from ca. 1860 this Beautifully Figured Walnut 19th Century Antique Victorian Card Table – Games Table has an unusual shaped top with moulded edges and stunning figured walnut. The top opens to double its size, supported by an extending leg, revealing the playing surface, finished in green baize. There is also a secret drawer on the back for additional storage. This quality antique card table stands on four beautifully turned reeded legs with decorative floral carvings and stands on porcelain castors. It has been built by a true Victorian craftsman, with wonderful charm, character and has aged to a golden Walnut

shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
