A good quality and large, freestanding early Victorian mahogany writing table/desk raised on attractive tulip style turned legs with brass cup and brown porcelain castors. One side having 2 mahogany lined drawers with brass escutcheons, working locks and keys, the reverse with 2 faux drawers and all having applied mouldings and turned pulls. The round cornered and cross banded top having a replaced hand dyed green leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. Dimensions:- Width...52’’/ 132cm. Depth...32.5’’/ 82.5cm. Height…30’’/ 76.5cm. Kneehole Height…23.5’’/ 59.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £65.
