George III Inlaid Mahogany Table or Rent Table

Description

Circa 1800, George III inlaid mahogany library or rent table. The circular top has a burgundy leather writing surface surrounded by boxwood-inlaid, mahogany cross banding. The 8 (with 4 faux) are cedar-lined, inlaid frieze drawers with boxwood and ebony line inlay and twin circular ring brass handles. The shaped quarter brackets are on the square inlaid tapering legs over original brass caps and castors.

Size 73 cm high x 98 cm diameter
