A beautiful 19th.century French marquetry and brass inlaid ebonised work table. The serpentine shaped lid having a wonderful floral marquetry panel set within a walnut cross banded boarder with ebony ground and brass inlay. The lid lifts to reveal a brass edged vanity mirror and a removable fitted tray. The exterior having thuya wood panels with brass beading and ormolu escutcheon with working lock & key. The whole raised on elegant cabriole legs with gilded brass mounts and sabots. Dimensions:- Height…27.75’’/ 70.5cm. Width…19.5’’/ 49.5cm. Depth…13.5’’/ 34.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
