A good quality Victorian style freestanding burr and figured walnut writing table of the desirable kidney shaped form with stretcher base. The cross banded top having a hand dyed tan leather inset with blind and gold tooling. The frieze having 2 bow fronted burr walnut drawers with turned walnut pulls either side of the pierced and shaped kneehole frieze. The base with particularly well turned and carved columns and supported on carved cabriole legs with brass castors and in excellent condition. Dimensions:- Width..47’’/ 119.5cm. Depth..24’’/ 61cm.
