A fine and decorative gilt wood tripod table. The table has a well carved and shaped tripod base with turned stem. The whole retains the original untouched gilding which has a great faded country house look to it. The marble top is a later one, but is of a very good quality with great figuring. The whole is very sturdy and eminently usable. A great decorative lamp or wine table. C.1870.
