Georgian Mahogany D Shape Card Table

18th century
Description

Late 18th century George 3rd mahogany "D" shaped card table. The card table stands on 4 finely turned and reeded legs with double gate to the back. The freize is nicely inlaid with boxwood and ebony all round. The top has a boxwood and ebony line inlay with figured satin birch cross banding. Green baize to the inside. The table is in good condition with no obvious damage or repairs. There is a slight slant to the back legs due to a wee bit of wear to the wooden hinges but this is being super critical. The table is a pleasing colour with good patination.
