Rare 1930's Rudolph Steiner School Oak Table

Full provenance known, made for a English Steiner School in 1930. An amazing piece, made in the anthroposophic style that was wwweloped by Rudolf Steiner. Steiner designed amongst other things, school furniture and toys to be used within the schools. No hard lines here, only organic, natural shapes with an adzed finish. This Steiner School drop leaf table is made in solid oak with the table top naturally scrubbed whilst the adzed table base is in the original finish. Excellent, clean and strong condition, could be used as a desk, dining table or occasional table. Rare to find Steiner School pieces of furniture with full provenance.
