Small Early 19th Century Mahogany Side Table

Description

Highest quality small size early 19th century Georgian mahogany side table or wash stand. Made from the best of mahogany with super grain pattern. Square tapered legs with shaped under-stretcher, single long drawer which is cock beaded and is mahogany lined with original turned knobs. Nice shaped high gallery to the top with small shelf which is beautifully doevtailed together with tiny dovetails. The top is a beautiful piece of mahogany with typical cove and scotia moud to the edge. One really nice feature is the top moulding is curved round the corners.

This lovely wee table could be used for a variety of purposes; side table, dressing table or even a small writing table.

Made in the early 19th century but a very good cabinet making firm as it is of the highest quality.

SIZE; 30 1/2" wide by 20" deep by 38" high overall, 31" to the top.
