Inlaid Mahogany Round Occasional Table

1900 - 1920
Description

This lovely quality Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Occasional Table has many design features to enjoy. With the delicately out swept tapered legs having inlaid boxwood lines, joined by curvaceous rails to a central turned finial. The side rails are both banded with Satinwood and inlaid with Boxwood lines.

The top is edged by a contrasting banding, while the top surface benefits from an inlaid line and a fabulous fan and shell central marquetry inlay. The Mahogany used is finely figured and of a lovely warm colour that sets off the inlay superbly.

A very refined table that is both very eye-catching as well as being extremely useful.
