An exceptional 18th Century Mahogany Tripod Table of good colour made from the best quality timbers with figured one piece top. The Table superbly carved with acanthus leaf and scrolls to the base while the edge of the top is decorated with small flowers a patten seen on many of the finest quality tables of the period. The piece is in good original condition. One could speculate as to the maker of this table but with so many workshops operating and working on such similar designs it would be impossible to say with any degree of certainty.
