Spectacular Figured Mahogany Edwardian Demi Lune Antique Console Table

Stamped and dated by the cabinet makers W Freeman & Sons and of spectacular quality, this stunning demi Lune console table was constructed in 1918. The top is beautifully figured with a kingwood crossbanded edge with boxwood and ebony string inlay. It has a beautifully figured frieze with unusual bur walnut oval panels and once again has a crossbanded edge and stands on four tapering legs with spade feet. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
