Antique Louis Philippe Console Table

19th century
Description

Lovely and unusual c19th French mahogany Louis Philippe period console table four scrolling legs and an angular top.

There is a central drawer to the freize, runs well and oak lined, made with dovetails.

Good decorative piece and finished with a lovely slim original marble top. Not sure of the name of this marble, but will update if I find out.

Great size for a smaller hall, but would tuck in beautifully to a living room, alcove or perhaps landing space. Do check my other items for suitable size French gilt mirrors to hang above.

The condition is good as it has been through my workshop and polished up beautifully.

Measuring:

34” or 86.5cm high

35” or 89cm wide

18 1/2” or 47cm deep

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
