Description

A handsome Victorian mahogany writing table or desk by Heal’s of London. This example features a raised back with galleried shelf and four small drawers and two further deep drawers to the table, standing on attractive turned legs with bold reeding and fluting terminating with original brass cup castors with ceramic wheels. Stamped ‘Heal & Son, London’ to the drawer and ‘J C & S’ to the castor cups. Designed to stand against a wall.

A very good rich colour and in good condition with some marks & minor repairs commensurate with age including a small replaced knob and chips to two other original knobs.
