Description:
The table incorporates a twin-plank moulded top, with a well-proportioned over hang, above a single drawer. The drawer features old replacement (likely later Georgian or early Victorian) brass swan neck handles on circular escutcheons. The oak-lined drawer is constructed with butt joints, runs smoothly and closes flush to the frame. Below, the table is decorated with a decorative shaped frieze and stands on fine quality baluster turned legs, which are united by stretchers, giving the item additional strength. The table features the original top and backboard to the rear; the frame has been constructed in the traditional method.

Condition Report:
This table is in excellent condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, drawer fronts and top, but nothing significant considering the age of the item (see photos). The drawer is in good working order and closes flush to the frame. The drawers feature old replacement (likely Victorian) brass handles and escutcheons. The table features the original top and backboard to the rear; the frame has been constructed in the traditional joined construction method. The table boasts a lovely mellow colour and patination.
