Carse Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The base is super quality with thin finely turned solid rosewood end supports and lovely shape stretcher to the base. The table has its original castors to the base. The drawer is mahogany lined with cedar bottom and retains its original brass lock. The inside of the drawer is stamped what looks like BURRELL & WHITE or possibly BURNS & WHITE it is hard to tell for sure.

I think the table is almost definitely Irish in origin and is of very fine quality.
The table is a nice colour and is in very good condition, the top having been sympathetically re-polished.
