. The slightly splayed legs with a carved foot terminal.

Carved with simulated bamboo design to the edges , brackets and legs . Bamboo being an auspicious symbol in Chinese culture , esteemed for its longevity , strength and durability whilst representing moral integrity, modesty ,loyalty and elegance.
Both tables in excellent original condition, and with a rich patina to the well-figured selected timber. Minor marks to tops commensurate with age , use and purpose.
