ANTIQUE #SA633269

18th Century Mahogany Tripod Table

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Holmes Antiques

A rare and impressive late 18th Century Mahogany Tripod table with birdcage action, tray top and cluster columns in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The base is exceptionally carved with Lions Paw feet. It is hard to find similar examples to this table, it is possible that it is Irish as paw feet such as these are so often associated with Irish Furniture.
