Georgian Mahogany Hepplewhite Serpentine Card Table

A fine eighteenth century serpentine card table. The table is typical of the French designs by Hepplewhite. The table stands on superb carved cabriole legs of elegant French shape. The top is crossbanded in mahogany with a simple boxwood line inlay. The mahogany is finely figured and has a great untouched patina and colour with some wear to the top. The whole is in excellent country house condition with original baize and is a wonderful period antique. C.1780.
