M Lees and Sons has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
. The legs with raised leaf carving to the knees which extends onto the frieze , the feet with leaf-carved scroll toes . The figured walnut frieze with 2 large symmetrically placed dramatically-carved cartouches of rococo C-scroll form . The sides with conforming shaped serpentine frieze returns.

The rear supports of flat panelled form to fit flush to a wall . The bases terminating in a square block design.
The frame surmounted by a rare and strikingly-figured Breccia marble stone slab of variegated composition. The thick marble top of conforming serpentine outline to the walnut base below. The edge of the marble with a carved and moulded profile and re-entrant style shaped corners.

An imposing table of rare and dramatic form , the design clearly influenced by the extravagance and exuberance of the C18th European rococo fashion and style.
The walnut table base having a consistent rich colour and patina. The marble top with minors nicks to the edges and scratches from general wear and usage commensurate with age and purpose.
