William IV Flame Mahogany Writing Table

19th century
Description

Great quality late Regency / William IV flame mahogany free standing writing table. The table with very unusual design base with turned patera decoration all over and original brass claw castors. The table is finished all round with drawers to both sides with original turned wooden knobs. There is a proper drawer to both sides alternating with a dummy drawer. Therefore the 2 proper drawers are full length. The drawers are cedar lined with original turned knobs and locks. The top has been veneered in a very pleasing flame mahogany.

The table is in very good condition with no damage and no repairs.

Lovely piece of free standing furniture that could be put to many uses.
