Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
1880. It has a beautifully figured top with two drop leaves and fine sunburst inlays along with inlaid banding. It has a central Mahogany lined drawer with small brass handles, stands on tapering legs and the lower tier has the most spectacular sunburst inlay centre. This fine table has aged to a warm rich Rosewood shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
