Italian Specimen Marble Table

Description

Circa 1880, Italian specimen marble top table. The circular top is made of irregular shaped samples of different marble on an ebonised panel. Beneath this is a turning, tapered column with gilding to the fluted design. Finishing on a circular base with reeding to the top and added lead beneath (for stability).

Size 67 cm high x 47 cm diameter
