With a green tooled leather writing insert and stationary compartment, two unusually shaped drop leaves, all of which are beautifully crossbanded in satinwood and boxwood and ebony string inlay. It also has a beautiful decorative brass gallery and a central mahogany lined drawer with brass swan neck handles and key with working lock. The piece as a whole stands elegantly on shaped legs with castors. The mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
