Edwardian Satinwood Inlaid Oval Centre Table

1900 - 1920
Description

Edwardian Satinwood Inlaid Oval Centre Table. The top having radiating segment veneers framed by chequer stringing and a satinwood crossbanding then a mahogany banding with boxwood and ebony outline stringing having a boxwood outline strung edge. The side edge having a chequer banding with boxwood outline strung lower edge with a concave moulding below. Each section of the frieze having boxwood and ebony stringing with a conforming chequer banded lower edge. Same stringing above the square tapered legs which are also strung and have outline stringing all on spade feet with brass castors.
