Gillows Quality Regency Mahogany Small Antique Sofa Table / Lamp Table

Dating from ca. 1830 this fine Quality Regency Mahogany Small Antique Sofa Table / Lamp Table / Side table is in the style and quality of a Gillows Piece. It has a beautifully figured top with moulded edges, two drop leaves and has two working drawers on one side and two faux drawers on the opposite so it can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. The drawers have turned ebonised handles, are cock beaded and the piece stands on a turned pedestal with shaped base and scrolled feet. This beautiful antique table has aged to a warm rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
