Description

A stunning Moorish" Damascus" marquetry games table for cards, chess, draughts and backgammon with inlaid counters. The top lifts to reveal a baised inset playing surface which also lifts to the backgammon board with the chess board to the reverse. Raised on serpentine shaped legs with joining cross stretchers. The whole profusely inlaid overall with geometric designs in boxwood, ebony, mother of pearl, olive and various other exotic woods. Condition- Very good. Dimensions:- Height…30.5’’/ 77.5cm. Width…33’’/ 43.5cm. Depth…16.5’’/ 42cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £50.
