A magnificent large c19th French gilt console table with original marble top.
Beautifully carved frame and impressive stretcher with carved urn and garlands.
The four tapering legs finished with carved quivers to the top, supporting the scrolled freize.
Very decorative and has aged beautifully, the original gilding is really lovely with just the right amount of wear.
The original marble top is in good condition, super quality and shaped to match the freize below.
Certainly and impressive and rare piece at this size, perfect to hang a gilt mirror above and a pair of lamps as shown.
The size of this console would lend itself to being used as a dining room server table too.
