Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
1900 and is stamped by the maker J.W. Heatherington, Lancaster. It has two drop leaves, a stunning central inlaid panel and satinwood crossbanded edges. The frieze drawer has a decorative brass swan neck handle and the table stands on four tapering legs with brass castors and is finished with a lower inlaid tier. It has aged to a rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
