Description

Late 19C Kingwood Ormolu Mounted Bijouterie Table. The hinged bevelled glazed top having serpentine sides with crossbanded frame having ormolu moulding around the glazing and brass side edge. The interior with velvet lined base and having a brass support to hold the top with a small screw bolt to secure. The sides having glazed panels again in ormolu moulded frames with shaped aprons below. Each corner having open cast ormolu mounts which run down the cabriole legs having ormolu toes. The legs joined by a quarter veneered undertier with boxwood line stringing and brass side edges.
